What does The Exodus Road do?
The Exodus RoadⓇ fights sex slavery and human trafficking by fueling undercover investigations and rescue operations with local police. Our mission is to help find and free slaves through strategic action with ordinary people. You can learn more about our organization on our website.
What do you mean by supporting 'holistic' change?
When it comes to fighting human trafficking there are three main pillars of support:
While The Exodus Road's main focus as an organization is intervention, we try to support prevention and aftercare efforts, too. By employing social workers to support survivors and partnering with aftercare shelters, we make an effort to be a part of survivor's journeys even after they are rescued. The Exodus Road store also allows us to sell items made by at-risk communities, providing stable employment and economic growth, a very important factor in preventing human trafficking situations.
Is my purchase tax deductible?
Since you are receiving purchased goods, your purchase does not qualify as tax deductible.
How do I pick the size that is best for me?
- MEN'S/WOMEN'S shirts run true to size.
- FITTED shirts run a bit smaller than the average size. You may want to size up if you prefer a looser fit.
- UNISEX sizes are different than ones specific to men or women and are noted in the item descriptions, as well. Unisex sizes typically run true to size for men. Women may want to size down on unisex shirts.
What is your return policy?
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase or gift, please return the package with the receipt within 60 days. Use the shipping carrier most convenient for you, and send the package to the following address:
Upon receipt of your return, we will issue a credit to your card used for the original transaction for the cost of the item, including taxes. If you do not have a receipt, please email email@example.com with details. Shipping fees are non-refundable.
What if I receive the wrong items or my items arrive damaged?
If your item arrives damaged or you don’t receive what you ordered, we will work with you to replace it as quickly as possible—at no additional shipping cost. Email Customer Assistance at firstname.lastname@example.org if you receive a damaged or mistaken product. Please reference the four-digit order number found at the top of your order confirmation email.
Are all of your products Fair Trade?
While not all of our products are Fair Trade Certified™, we work hard to provide products that are created and sold using ethical practices and that create sustainable jobs and safe work for their makers. We encourage you to take some time to learn about each of our vendors to see exactly why we've selected their products for our collections.
